Summary:
WHEREAS, the Newark Board of Education has committed itself to providing transportation services for District facilitated Programs.

WHEREAS, Newark Board of Education Transportation will be provided for the following programs and services:

• Shuttle Transportation for Elementary Schools – Belmont Runyon/Dr. E. Alma Flagg/George Washington Carver/Louise A. Spencer/Oliver Street/Park Elementary/Speedway Avenue/Hawkins Street/Ann Street/ Rafael Hernandez/Camden Street

• HSLT Summer Transportation OPT Buses – Slam Poetry/Animation Classes/Arts and Education District Tour (Walking)/Aspire NJ/Be Changer Maker/Voices International/Be The Change Makers at Essex County College/Brookside (Sped ED)/Berkeley College Summer Career Workshops/Concordia Arabic Immersion Camp/Creative Writing and Expression/Research Paper Prep/Culinary Arts/Design Summer Camp-Intro to Graphic Design/Energy Diamonds-Kidz Speed/Financial Literacy/Financial Literacy Experience/ Financial Literacy Experience/ Fundamentals of Art and Design/ Future Business Leaders/ Hamilton (Broadway)/ Lakehouse Studios Recording/ Mariano Rivera Organization- Metoring WBL/ Multilingual Student Support/ Newmark Associates/ Nilda Rosario/ NYC Harlem History Tour/ Port Authority Police Department PO Anthony M. WHEREAS, the proposed in-state trips have been reviewed, approved and recommended by the Program & Instruction Committee and recommend for approval by the full Board, Now, therefore it is hereby resolved, that the Newark Board of Education approves the students’ transportation.
