Summary:
|
Whereas, the purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding (this MOU) is a formalized partnership between Planned Parenthood and (“PPMNJ” or Partner) and the Newark Board of Education as the partner will provide a total of 8 sexuality education workshops with students in the transition program at American History High School during the 2024-2025 academic school year.
Whereas, lesson topics may include from the following: Introduction to Sexuality, Access to Health Care and Self-Advocacy, Puberty and Reproductive Anatomy, Self-Esteem and Body Image, Healthy Relationships and Consent. Birth Control, Sexually Transmitted Infections and LGBTQ+ Inclusivity.
Whereas, PPMNJ will provide all educational materials and lesson plans for each workshop. Lesson plans will include objectives aligned to the National Sex Education Learning Standards, as well as New Jersey State Learning Standards. |
