Summary:
|
|
WHEREAS, the Newark Board issued a request for quotation for Career and Technical Education Facility Consultant Services; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Board of Education currently utilizes and desires to continue to utilize the services of experienced educational consultants with documented success to assist with enhancing current Career and Technical Education programs as well as facilitating school facility improvements; and
WHEREAS, the District is authorized to enter into an agreement for extraordinary unspecifiable services in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-5a (2); and
WHEREAS, the recommendation for award of term contract was reviewed and approved by Carlos Edmundo, Acting Executive Director of Facilities Management and Krystle Whitlock, Assistant School Business Administrator. |

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Newark Board of Education accepts and approves the award of term contract for Career and Technical Education Facilities Consulting Services from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025 as follows:
A. Mary G Bennett, Irvington, NJ at a cost not to exceed $96,000.00
B. Raymond Lindgren, East Rutherford, NJ at a cost not to exceed $96,000.00
EXPLANATION: To provide support and assistance with various components of educational programing as well as facilitating school facility improvements. |
