Summary:
|
Whereas, the New Jersey Technology Initiative Program is a State funded program designed to ensure districts provide technology to all students attending non-public schools located within the district; and Whereas, the Newark Board of Education will confer with the administrator of each participating non-public school, advise them of their funds, and enter into an agreement with them as to the technology to be provided; and Whereas, the Office of Information Services will provide technology guidance and support and the Office of Federal Programs & Grants will provide the technical assistance to the schools in spending the funds in a timely manner; and Whereas, the New Jersey Department of Education allocates $72,912.00 to the Newark Board of Education for fiscal year 2025, beginning July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. Funds will be distributed to the non-public schools identified by the NJDOE located within the district. |
