WHEREAS N.J.S.A. 10:4-8 requires annual notice of meetings to be published at least once each year, within 7 days following the annual organization meeting;
WHEREAS Board of Education Policy 9321 provides that all meetings of the Board of Education shall be held on dates and at times and places determined by the Board at its annual reorganization meeting; |

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, pursuant to the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., that the Newark Board of Education hereby proclaims that the public meetings of the Board of Education will be conducted on the dates set forth below exclusively using communications or other electronic equipment until the period of public health emergency has ended or otherwise provided by law, and thereafter at the locations shown below;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that action may be taken at any and all public meetings of the Board of Education;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the attached schedule of meetings is subject to change, and in the event of any change adequate notice shall be provided in accordance with statute; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the annual notice of meetings of the Board of Education shall be published within 7 days hereof. |
