Summary:
|
|
WHEREAS, Central High School and Kean University wish to develop collaborative endeavors built
on the strengths and capacities of both institutions for the education of its citizens; and
WHEREAS, Central High School and Kean University wish to collaborate in a partnership whereby
Central High School’s students (“Students”) will take college level courses offered, approved or mapped by
Kean University (“Curriculum”) and, subject to the terms of the agreement, will receive college
credits from Kean University upon successful completion of the Curriculum and/or associated
requirements; |

The total amount of monies to be charged to the Board under this contract shall not exceed $8,250.00 for the school year 2024-2025. |

Now therefore, be it resolved that the Newark Board of Education approve the contract from Kean University for Introduction to Sustainability Science for the use of Central High School students from July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025. |
