Summary:
Whereas this Memorandum of Understanding outlines a partnership between the Newark Board of Education and the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey (CWF) to provide wildlife-based STEAM educational programming at Ridge Street School during the 2024-2025 school year. CWF will offer monthly in-school, virtual, or blended learning for students in grades K, 3, 5, 6, and 8, focusing on hands-on, project-based learning. The program also includes field trips, arts integration, community engagement, and professional development workshops. This programming is supported by grant funding and provided at no cost to the District.

Now, therefore, be it resolved that the Newark Board of Education approves this Memorandum of Understanding with the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey and the Newark Board of Education.
