Whereas, the Newark Board of Education is committed to the continuing improvement of the educational program of the district; and
Whereas teachers and central office personnel have authored high school CTE curriculum guides, course proficiencies, and syllabi for:
1. Cosmetology II
2. Advanced Manufacturing II
3. Cinematography and Film Video Production II
4. Cinematography and Film Video Production III
5. Culinary Arts III
6. Engineering III
7. Teacher Education III
8. Law Studies III
9. Entrepreneurial Studies III
10. Biomedical Science III
Whereas each document provides a year-long overview, philosophy statement, course description, statement on culturally responsive-sustaining education, integrated accommodations for special education, English Language Learners, Students at risk for school failure, gifted and talented students, and students with 504 plan; Career and Technical Education Best Practices, Integration of 21st Century Life and Career Skills, Core Instructional and Supplemental Materials, Pacing Guide, Curriculum Map, Units of Studies and Assessments. |
