Summary:
|
Whereas, the Newark Trust for Education in partnership with the Victoria Foundation has awarded Belmont Runyon School a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) grant; and
Whereas, the Newark Trust for Education will reimburse the Newark Board of Education for up to $8,112 out of the SEL grants to cover the cost of school leaders, teachers, substitute teachers and paraprofessionals participating in afterschool meetings, PD sessions, and activities related to the SEL grant at Belmont Runyon School; and
Whereas, the grant funding is for the period of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022. |

Now, Therefore, Be it Resolved, the Newark Board of Education accepts the award from the Newark Trust for Education in partnership with the Victoria Foundation in the amount of $8,112 and intends to comply with the provisions in the award letter. |
