Summary:

|
Whereas Newark Board of Education has entered into a dual enrollment partnership with Essex County College; and whereas BIO 121: Anatomy & Physiology I and HSC 109: Medical Terminology will be offered to students during SY 2022-2023 now needs to be added to Powerschool Course Catalog and later to student transcripts; and whereas this course has been reviewed by the Assistant Superintendent for High Schools and also reviewed and approved by the Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning. |

The total amount of payment by the Newark Board of Education shall not exceed $15,000.
Subject to the availability of funds.

Now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED that the Newark Board of Education approves the syllabus for BIO 121: Anatomy & Physiology I and HSC 109: Medical Terminology to be offered by Essex County College during school year 2022-2023. |
