Whereas, The I Have a Dream Foundation has agreed to provide an After-school and Saturday Academy that provides supplemental social, emotional, academic, and enrichment support for students in grades Pre-K-2nd at 13th Ave./Dr. MLK, Jr. Elementary School; and Whereas this MOU will be in effect for the 2021-22 school year; and Whereas the program enrollment shall not exceed 150 students; and Whereas, all students will remain under the care and supervision of IHDFNJ during the duration of the program and until students are in the custody of their parents/guardians.

Now therefore, be it resolved that the Newark Board of Education approve this Memorandum or Understanding between I Have a Dream Foundation and Newark Board of Education at Thirteenth Avenue Elementary School.
