Summary: For Dual college enrollment, the following syllabi from Rutgers University had been received and reviewed. These syllabi are for the following four courses: Introduction to African American and African Studies I, HIS 203: History of Newark, PHY109: Astronomy and Cosmology, and Arts and Culture of Public Service. They have been been reviewed by the Office of Teaching and Learning to ensure that each meets local and state requirements.

The Assistant Superintendent of High Schools and the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning have reviewed and approved the syllabi as well.
Funding : No cost to district.
Recommendation to the Board: BE IT RESOLVED that the Newark Board of Education approve the syllabi from Rutgers University for:
1. Introduction to African American and African Studies I
2. HIS 203: History of Newark
3. PHY109: Astronomy and Cosmology
4. Arts and Culture of Public Service
