Summary:

Whereas, Newark Board of Education was awarded two grants, SMILE Grant and SMILE Mini Grant, for the Dental Academy program at Central High School from the Delta Dental of New Jersey Foundation, Inc.; and
Whereas, the SMILE Grant is in the amount of $25,000 and the SMILE Mini grant is in the amount of $6,500; and
Whereas, the purpose of the grant is to provide support for students at Central High School in the Dental Academy program; and
Whereas, the grant funding is for the 2023-2024 school year.
