Summary:

WHEREAS, it is agreed that Ewing Public Schools will provide transportation services as specified herein for Newark Public Schools district students in accordance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations governing student transportation and
WHEREAS, students may be added and deleted as mutually agreed upon, according to terms of any existing contract, and as approved by the participating boards of education, and
WHEREAS, it is understood and agreed by the parties of this agreement that Ewing Public Schools is not responsible for the transportation contractor’s failure to provide the services agreed upon herein, but will make every reasonable effort to provide alternate services should such failure occur, and

Recommendation to the Board:
|
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that Newark Public Schools agrees to pay the Ewing Public Schools the sum specified herein which may be adjusted based on changes in the route. The cost to the Newark Public Schools will be based on actual costs.
