Summary: Whereas, Rutgers Newark has agreed to have the students at Newark School of Fashion and Design create certain designs using the Rutgers Newark mascot to incorporate into merchandise for sale at the Rutgers Newark bookstore.

Whereas, Newark School of Fashion and Design will visit the bookstore and student center to learn about the merchandise and students will work with Rutgers Newark personnel and give input into the designs.
Funding : Rutgers will pay $5000 to Newark School of Fashion and Design.
Recommendation to the Board: Now therefore, be it resolved that the Newark Board of Education approve this Memorandum of Understanding between Rutgers Newark and the Newark Board of Education.
