Summary:
|
The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding (this MOU) is a formalized partnership between SoundThinking, Inc., (“SoundThinking” or Partner) and the Newark Board of Education as the partner will provide timely and accurate gunshot detection allowing law enforcement to rapidly and precisely deploy resources to respond to crime, as well as proactively prevent crime. Detecting the noise of gunshots, SoundThinking installs its acoustic sensors on rooftops, light poles, or other strategic locations within the contracted coverage area.
