Summary:

Whereas, the Community Food Bank of New Jersey is located in Hillside, NJ with a mission to fight hunger and poverty in New Jersey by assisting those in need and seeking long-term solutions; and Whereas, Community Food Bank of New Jersey has agreed to agree to collaborate to deliver enrichment services to children and families at Newark Board of Education district schools; and Whereas, Community Food Bank of NJ is offering the NJ SNAP-Ed program which is a federally funded grant program teaching good nutrition, how to make food dollars stretch further and how to make physical activity a part of your day; and Whereas, the MOU is in effect for the 2021-2022 school year.
