Summary:
|
The purpose of this MOU is to formalize a partnership between Rutgers University - Newark Center for PreCollege Programs and the Newark Board of Education that would facilitate precollege programming and college credit attainment opportunities for Newark Board of Education (NBOE) students including, but not limited to, precollege and career readiness programs, federally funded precollege programming, and referrals to dual enrollment study opportunities for the 2021-2022 school year and summer.

NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved, the Newark Board of Education approves this Memorandum of Understanding to formalize a partnership between Rutgers University-Newark Center for PreCollege Programs and the Newark Board of Education that would facilitate precollege programming and college credit attainment opportunities for Newark Board of Education students including but not limited to precollege and career readiness programs, federally funded precollege TRIO programming, and referrals to dual enrollment study opportunities for the 2021-2022 school year.
