Summary:
|
Whereas, the United States Soccer Foundation Inc has agreed to provide a grant of $20,000 to the Newark Board of Education to run the Just Ball Program for the 2023-24 school year. United States Soccer Foundation Inc will provide $938.33 to fund soccer balls and field equipment. The program will benefit at least 500 children in and around Newark and will operate for a total of 16 weeks. Upon culmination of the program there will be an end of season Unity Cup. The grantee will run the program on mini pitch sites and the foundation will provide a contractor for 20 hours per week for program implementation.

The United States Soccer Foundation will grant the Newark Board of Education $20,000 and $938.33 for equipment and soccer balls.

Now therefore, be it resolved that the Newark Board of Education approve this Grant Agreement between the United States Soccer Foundation, Inc and the Newark Board of Education.
