Summary:
|
Whereas Newark Board of Education has entered into a dual enrollment partnership with Essex County College; and whereas BIO 121: Anatomy & Physiology I and HSC 109: Medical Terminology will be offered to students during SY 2022-2023 now needs to be added to Powerschool Course Catalog and later to student transcripts; and whereas this course has been reviewed by the Assistant Superintendent for High Schools and also reviewed and approved by the Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning.

The total amount of payment by the Newark Board of Education shall not exceed $15,000.
Subject to the availability of funds.

Now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED that the Newark Board of Education approves the syllabus for BIO 121: Anatomy & Physiology I and HSC 109: Medical Terminology to be offered by Essex County College during school year 2022-2023.
