Summary:

Whereas, the Newark Board of Education has chosen to engage with Restaurant Associates in support of Newark Vocational High School’s culinary program; and Whereas students of theNewark Vocational High School will gain hands-on culinary training in the real-world during the academic school years 2023-2026; and Whereas students will gain experience by learning about kitchen safety training, proper cooling and cooking DOH techniques, knife skills, food service, portioning and cleaning procedures; and Whereas students will have this experience one session per academic cycle for six hours each session.
