Summary:

Whereas, the Solon E. Summerfield Foundation engages in grant partnerships in the NYC-Metro area that seek to transform systems and pathways of opportunity so that young people most impacted by social, racial, and economic injustice can live choice-filled lives; and
Whereas, Solon E. Summerfield Foundation’s Board of Directors has awarded a grant to Newark Board of Education in the amount of $84,286.00 for Implementing College Bridge in Newark; and
Whereas, the grant will be managed by the Office of Student Life for the 2024-25 school year.

Now, Therefore Be It Resolved, Newark Board of Education accepts the grant from the Solon E. Summerfield Foundation in the amount of $84,286 and agrees to comply with all guidelines set forth in the grant agreement.
