Summary: Whereas, New Community Corporation has agreed to provide after school programming to the Newark Board of Education at 13th Ave Elementary School. Whereas, they will provide academic enrichment, recreation, and social-emotional activities up to 45 students per day. Whereas, New Community Corporation will also provide parenting education and social services to families participating in the program which runs for the 2023-24 school year.
Funding : No cost to the district.
Recommendation to the Board: Now therefore, be it resolved that the Newark Board of Education approve this Memoandum of Understanding between New Community Corporation and the Newark Board of Education.
