WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:6-61 et seq., the Board of Education of Newark, New Jersey must appoint one of its members to represent it on the Board of Directors of the Essex Regional Education Services Commission; and
WHEREAS, the President of the Newark Board of Education has nominated its member, Josephine C. Garcia;

Recommendation to the Board:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Superintendent of Essex Regional Education Services Commission be notified that Josephine C. Garcia has been duly recognized as the 2024- 25 member of Board of Directors of the Essex Regional Education Services Commission;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution indicating such appointment be forwarded to Superintendent of the Commission.
