Summary:
|
WHEREAS, Good Sports is a national non-profit that donates brand-new sports equipment to programs in high need communities across the country; and
WHEREAS, Good Sports is providing an equipment donation with a value of $25,012.09 to benefit NBOE high schools that meet our criteria of 51% or higher free and reduced lunch rate; and
WHEREAS, Good Sports is donating items such as: track shoes, socks, polos, t-shirts, and golf gloves that will be accepted by the Office of Health and Physical Education to be distributed to schools.
