Subject: 17.5 Approval of a Research and Data sharing agreement between Young Audiences and the Newark Board of Education

Summary: Whereas, Young Audiences plans to conduct several pre-post evaluations of various arts programs throughout the district. Young Audiences plans to centralize the program evaluation process and conduct evaluations of the following programs: Arts Lab, Dance to Learn, United We Create, Creativity Consultant Project, Artists in Residence, Arts Professional Learning Institute, and Young Audiences Assembly. Whereas, the purpose of this is to garner feedback from participants and identify ways to make this programming stronger.

Principal Researcher and their agents will maintain all client information confidentially in accordance with all New Jersey state and federal laws and regulations.
Funding : No cost to the district.
Recommendation to the Board: Now therefore, be it resolved that the Newark Board of Education approve this Research And Data sharing agreement between Young Audiences and the Newark Board of Education.
