Priority 2.1 2.1 Develop and implement a pre-K through grade 12 inclusive curricula and assessments that elevate historically marginalized voices, strengthen and sustain a focus on the instructional core, and provide opportunities to learn about perspectives beyond one’s own scope.

WHERE AS, the Newark Board of Education - Office of Early Childhood request approval of its New Jersey Three Year Preschool Program Operational Plan SY 2024-26 and
WHERE AS, Three Year Preschool Program Plan and Annual Update SY 2025-2026 includes the proposed programmatic plan to meet the needs of high-quality preschool programing for 3 and 4 year-old children.
WHERE AS, the corresponding budget for the approved Operational Plan will be submitted for approval in March 2024 as per New Jersey Department of Education guidance.
