Whereas, the Newark Board of Education is committed to the continuing improvement of the educational program of the district; and Whereas teachers and central office personnel have authored Grades K-5 mathematics curriculum guides that provide a year-long overview, alignment to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards by subject area, differentiation plans, unit plans, and assessments.
