Audiences and the Newark Board of Education.

Summary: Whereas, Young Audiences has agreed to provide students access to
Brazilian dance lessons, increase engagement in the arts through a
dance residency and culminating performance that showcases student
work and gather data on student performances and the efficacy of
the program at Hawkins for 2024 – 2025 school year. Whereas,
Young Audiences promises to implement appropriate curriculum for
participants in conjunction with the school appointed site
coordinator and facilitate all scheduling of dance sessions.
Funding : No cost to the District
Recommendation to the Board: Now therefore, be it resolved that the Newark Board of Education
approve this Memorandum of Understanding between Young
Audiences and the Newark Board of Education.
