Summary: Whereas, the Board of Education of the City Newark, County of Essex (the "Board") formally approves, accepts and/or authorizes various personnel matters actions including among other things, leave requests; Whereas, Employee Nos. 55392 and 46839 have requested leaves of absence without pay from November 3, 2023, through November 16, 2023, and November 6, 2023, through December 31, 2023, respectively; Whereas, upon recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board finds that the request should be granted.

Recommendation to the Board: Now, therefore, be it resolved, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, that the Board approves and authorizes leaves of absence without pay for Employee Nos. 55392 and 46839 for the times specified above.
