Summary:

Whereas Newark Board of Education has entered into a dual enrollment partnership with Montclair State University; and whereas CMST 101: Fundamentals of Speech, SOCI 100: Introduction to Psychology, HLTH 101 Personal Health, and SOCI 100- Introduction to Sociology will be offered to CTE students during SY 2021-2022; and whereas these courses have been reviewed by the Assistant Superintendent for High Schools and also reviewed and approved by the Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning.

Now, therefore, be it resolved that the Newark Board of Education approves these syllabi (CMST 101: Fundamentals of Speech, SOCI 100: Introduction to Psychology, HLTH 101 Personal Health, and SOCI 100- Introduction to Sociology) which will be offered at Newark Public Schools and Montclair State University during SY 21-22.
