Summary: 21PSTEM is working in conjunction with Rutgers on the Mathematical Thinkers Like Me study. This organization is collaborating with Rutgers by providing access to an interactive platform that students can use to collaboratively solve math problems.

As part of this project, 21PSTEM will need to roster students through the software to support teacher usage and evaluate the impact of utilizing this software. This is the data to be collected: Student ID, Student First Name, Student Last Name, School, Teacher, Period, Class at Rafael Hernandez ES and Louise A. Spencer ES.


The DSA with 21PSTEM that outlines the data to be shared and outlines the district's programmatic and operational relationship with 21PSTEM and the usage of its products.
Funding : No cost to the district.
Recommendation to the Board: Now therefore, be it resolved that the Newark Board of Education approve this Research and Data Sharing Agreement with 21st Century Partnership for STEM Education.
