Summary:
|
Whereas, the Project F.E.E.D (Friends Ensuring Every Dinner) is located in Morris Plains, NJ with a mission to provide healthy, nutritious meals through FREE food box distribution; and
Whereas, Project F.E.E.D has awarded ten schools in the Newark Board of Education with a donation of 150 meals weekly from September to January; and
Whereas, food will be delivered by local restaurants to the following schools: Luis Munoz Marin, Dr. Horton, Camden Street, South Street, Chancellor, Speedway, Barringer, Weequahic, Elliot Street and Peshine.

Now, Therefore Be It Resolved, the Newark Board of Education accepts the donation from Project F.E.E.D. of 1,500 weekly meals for 10 NPS schools and intends to comply with the provisions in the award letter.
