Summary:
|
Whereas, the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (JH-CTY) agrees to provide Newark Board of Education NBOE) with helping develop a coherent and robust framework to identify, educate and support their advanced learners;
Whereas, JHU- CTY will provide professional development to central office leaders and will work with Elliott Street, Chancellor, Mt. Vernon, Camden and Hawkins administrators, teachers and parents- specifically in grades 2-5; and
Whereas, a third party formative and summative evaluation will be conducted by the Center for Research and Reform in Education at JHU.

Now therefore, be it resolved that the Newark Board of education approve this MOU with Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth.
