The Newark Board of Education is committed to the continuing improvement of the educational program of the district; and
Teachers and central office personnel have authored Integrated Language Arts Literacy and Science Units of Study for Grades K-2. These curricular units provide an overview, alignment to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards by subject area, daily lesson plans, and assessments.
