Summary:
|
Whereas, the Joseph Cornwall Center at Rutgers University has agreed to continue the 21st Century Community Learning Center that provides supplemental social, emotional, academic, and enrichment support for students in grades 3-8 at 13th Ave. Elementary School; and Whereas this MOU will be in effect for the 2021-22 school year; and
Whereas the program enrollment shall not exceed 210 students; and Whereas, collaboration with partners including, but not limited to, Newark School of the Arts, Cultural Integration and Arts Association, and Glassroots will occur.

Now therefore, be it resolved that the Newark Board of Education
approve this Memorandum or Understanding with the Joseph Cornwall Center at Rutgers University.
